LQMS

Preparing laboratories for the accreditation

Choosing Tekon as your business partner gives you the opportunity to certify your LQMS on short notice. Our approach encompasses the following activities:

  • Initial stage audit- our highly experienced consultants perform on-site auditing by reviewing the existing documentation, interviewing the managers and other personnel and visiting all the organization’s locations, on basis of which they make the Initial stage audit which notes all nonconformances with standard requirements;
  • Informing the management- our consultants concisely and in day-to-day language communicate the basic aspects of this management system to the top management;
  • Training the LQMS implementation workgroup- our consultants assist the organization’s management in forming the LQMS implementation workgroup and perform the training necessary for LQMS design and implementation.
  • Planning the LQMS implementation, from the beginning to the certification itself;
  • Designing the basic documents- in order to hasten the implementation process, our consulting team designs the basic document drafts, which are later reviewed and modified by the implementation workgroup, in cooperation with our consulting team. Our years-long experience proves this is the most efficient and the fastest way of reaching the projected goal, as opposed to having the workgroup write the documents from scratch with the consultants only checking them for nonconformities with the standard requirements;
  • Training the personnel for implementing and using the designed documents.
  • Distributing and working by the documents- using the LQMS documents in everyday work helps root the LQMS in the very core of the organization, which is a prerequisite for a successful certification;
  • Training the internal auditing team- the personnel trained for conducting the internal audits is responsible for checking whether LQMS functions as planned.
  • Internal audit- the internal auditing team conducts the first LQMS internal audit, under the supervision of our consultants;
  • Preparing for the certification- the client sends the request to the chosen accredited certification body. All non-conformities form the internal audit must be addressed before the appointed visit by the certification body representatives;
  • The certification- being the official audit by the external auditors, usually comprised of two parts: pre-auditing and auditing.

Tekon helped a considerable number of public and private organizations both from Serbia and countries in the region implement and certify their LQMS.
